We are a small, but fine mountain inn situated roughly in the middle between Vättis, the southernmost village of the Canton of St. Gallen, and the Kunkels Pass, which already lies on the territory of Graubünden. Take a moment to relax on our garden terrace and let your gaze wander towards the Kunkels Pass over lush meadows full of floral splendor. The Calanda stands quietly and majestically, inviting you to enjoy peaceful hikes away from the tourist crowds.

I bought the Eggwald 22 years ago to do something good for myself and for you. Working in this tranquil landscape is wonderful, and for you, the Eggwald offers a little break with a big impact. The Eggwald is more than a restaurant; it is a place where people like to meet, come together, sleep, and spend cozy time. The Eggwald mountain inn is a bit like a peaceful home.
