With its large common room that can accommodate up to 60 people, the house is ideally suited for companies, schools, seminars, or celebrations in larger groups. The house is supervised on weekends and is a popular excursion destination.

The house can accommodate a total of 38 people. It has 5 rooms with 4 beds, 2 rooms with 6 beds, 1 room with 5 beds, washrooms, communal showers, and toilets. Wool blankets and duvets are available in the sleeping rooms, but bed linen is only available in the 4-bed rooms for an additional charge. The large and modern kitchen can be used during the week. On Saturdays and Sundays, meals must be obtained from the hut warden.

There are several leisure and play options inside and around the house: a playroom, a large outdoor playground, a ping-pong table, and a foosball table. Outside, there is also a barbecue house with a charcoal grill and fire pits.

The group accommodation can be reached in 20 minutes on foot from the PostBus stop. Access to the parking lot below the house is possible (parking fee of CHF 2.00). Free parking is available in Rehetobel. The Appenzellerland offers a great area with various possibilities for groups. The ski area is 3 kilometers from the house and can be reached in 10 minutes by car.
