Saurer Garten

The mix of the urban ambiance of the former industrial area behind and the Arbon lakefront promenade in front, make the Saurer Garden a favorite spot. Guests enjoy a wide and lovely selection of beverages. From morning coffee to aperitifs and refreshing drinks, everything is available here. Additionally, the food truck offers delicious snacks. For children, a sandbox is set up for playing. The industrial building behind the garden houses the Saurer Museum. This museum showcases the impressive history of Adolf Saurer AG, which for a long time was the most significant Swiss manufacturer of trucks and later also of textile machinery. Among other places, production took place at the site that now hosts the museum. A vehicle from Saurer's success story is also fittingly placed in the Saurer Garden – a converted postal bus. Highlight for children: they are allowed to sit in the driver's seat. The old Saurer bus can be rented for private events or offers space for a drink and appetizer platter in uncertain weather. Events such as children's birthdays, a fondue party, or a private music session are happily accommodated.
