Weingut Donatsch & Winzerstube "zum Ochsen"

Enjoying a glass of wine in the paneled pine parlor of the Ochsen is a regal experience. The menu doesn't have many lines, but great emphasis is placed on pampering guests with the finest products from the region. Alongside a hearty barley soup, you'll find a Bündner plate with air-dried meat specialties and cheese. The Bündnerstube, built in 1926 with its blue tiled stove, invites you to linger. In the winter, the stove is heated daily with old vine roots. Many cozy hours have been spent on the sunny balcony with a view over the rooftops of Malans to the nearby mountains.

At the Donatsch winery, you have the opportunity to order various house wines by the glass during the opening hours of the associated wine tavern "zum Ochsen". There is also a tasting board with four different Donatsch wines on offer. In the Ochsen, there is no wine list to flip through, but rather one to walk through. In the vinotheque, guests can search for their favorite wine. There, alongside numerous vintages from the Donatsch winery, you'll find a huge selection of selected wines from the Bündner Herrschaft, Bordeaux, and Burgundy. Over two hundred different top wines and sought-after rarities are ready for selection.
