Restaurant Krone am See

The Krone restaurant is located in the Thurgau apple village of Altnau, right on Lake Constance. It is divided into two parts. Inside, guests are greeted by a stylish fine dining restaurant with modern cuisine, where many regional products are incorporated, including creative vegetarian and vegan dishes. The wine list shines with excellent wines from Thurgau, as well as from Switzerland and Europe. The second part outside is called "Krone Easy". This is a convivial summer terrace with simple menus for self-service or take away. Here, orders can be placed on-site, online from the Altnau beach just next door, or even from a boat, and picked up. Both parts of the Krone, the restaurant and terrace, share one thing in common: the wonderful lake view. The Krone is also an ideal starting or ending point for excursions around and over Lake Constance. Above the village starts the Altnauer Apple Path, a themed trail about the rosy-cheeked fruit for which Thurgau is so well-known.
