Taverne Nohlbuck

Already 200 years ago, there existed a farm with a tavern on the Nohlbuck. During those years, the pilgrimage route passed directly by the farm, giving the faithful the opportunity to dine in the inn.

The Nohlbuck is a curiosity due to its location near the border. Our farm and the "Besenbeiz" (a type of seasonal tavern) are located in the canton of Zurich. However, the farmyard is partially on German territory, and the canton of Schaffhausen also borders it.

The tavern has space for a maximum of 55 guests, and the terrace can accommodate 60 guests.

A view from the terrace offers a magnificent view of the Rhine up to the Rhine Falls basin. The panorama also includes a view of the surrounding hills and, with good visibility, even the Alps.
